Import XMI or UML2 format

hi,

i'm new on EA ... and i work a lot with Magic Draw 17 ;)

i want to import my Mdraw models in EA so i try :
- to import XMI and i doesn't work for UTF-8 problems ... and also for xmi structure problems
- to import fresh UML2 export model from mdraw ... and it work but ...
   => each uml2 object as activity produce the open of a new tab ... and i have so many activity object (~500) ... and so much open tab produce a crash in a std windows application (due to memory i guess)

is it possible to import uml2 format in silent mode (without opening a tab for each structured uml2 object such as activity object ...) ?
