Problem with viewing generated reports with Chrome
« on: August 23, 2010, 04:58:26 pm »
Hi all,

I'm having a problem trying to view my published models via Chrome, whereas the same model appears fine via Firefox.  Does anyone know if there is a known issue with Chrome or what the resolution may be?

EA version: 8.0.861
Chrome version: 5
Model is hosted on a linux/apache web server.

Cheers,

David.

My memory on this issue says that Chrome is very unreliable.  We have modified the HTML report to work with it a couple of times, and evidentally Chrome has went on to break it again each time.

Well that seems odd.  I've been a 100% user of Chrome for close to 6 months and have had very few problems with web sites other than those that are really lame and only work in IE.  If I had to guess, I'd say there is some non-standard HTML coding going into the generated reports.

I debug the code in java script console own Chrome. There is an array that is checking the size of a null string. That is what is happening ....

Is there any estimate of when or how we can solve the problem?
