Synchronize Stereotype and version control

Hello everybody,

after changing my profile (adding a new tagged value to an object) I use the "Synchronize stereotype" option of the toolbox and all depending elements were updated - works as designed !?

But: I also use version control and all changed elements were located in packages which were not checked-out - so my model was changed without considering version control!

I would consider that as conceptual flaw of EA. The tagged values "belong" to the MDG which is versioned in itself (by a simple number) but is not under version control. So if you apply a MDG it effects the whole model. Actually you can't do anything about that except a complete model (/RDBMS) dump. You have to live with that.
