Missing name column in class operations detail
« on: January 12, 2013, 12:17:18 am »
In EA10 in the class operation dialog the name column is missing. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Thanks.

Do you mean this dialog?

"Name" column is marked - I can see it.

Hi Paul
Perfectly right, yes. By the way, how did you post the image? I prepared one to illustrate the posting but could not find an attachment link.

I place the image file on a hosting and its URL into img-tag.

Hi Paul
Meanwhile I found the reason for the missing header column. The column headings are draggable. Apparently I removed the column by accident. A right click on the header row pops up a context menu from which one can choose the columns to be displayed (Field Chooser). I am not sure if this is mentioned in the user guide.

Anyway, thanks four your help and the hint regarding image posting (see below!)

I guess this is a standard behaviour of this Windows control; yes, it can sometimes surprise. But such behaviour doesn't belong definitely to the EA user guide.
