EA hangs when opening GenerateDocumentation dialog

When opening the "Generate Documentation (RTF/PDF)" dialog for the first time after EA has been startet, a warning dialog appears saying "Could not open the file."

After that, every time the dialog is opened again, EA hangs.
Can anyone explain why this could be happening?

The project is located on a Microsoft SQL Server.
