model view drag & drop issue

Dear EA people,

in version 8 I can drag and drop from model view to any class diagram. This doesn't seem to work in version 10.

In some obscure way EA does try to locate the class in the project browser (not all the time though, I cannot determine when it does and doesn't) but then it stops; no effort to paste the class to the diagram. (Note that this is the "visible" strategy: execute query, place class reference in model view, on drag and drop locate in project browser, and paste that class onto canvas).

This is a major issue for us, as this behavior is part of a method to build large class diagrams based on complex searches (that drive the model view).

I remember a recent thread about this where it was possible to drag elements from the project browser onto diagrams but not from a model view. I can't recall who, when and what exact context. Maybe the other guy reads this and knows what happened. I guess he sent a bug report. Not sure though.
