search builder SQL queries missing

I created a lot of SQL queries in the search builder and for some reason I can't see them anymore. I've looked in older copies of the EAP file and they are not listed in the older EAP files either!

I built the SQL search builder queries using V10, is this somethin to do with V11 EA?

Any suggestions welcome.

Luckily I have resolved this one. I've determined that model searches or SQL searches are NOT stored within the EAP files. They are stored somewhere else on the PC as part of the local EA config set.

I had moved to a newer PC, but still had the old PC on hand, so after firing up the old one it was conclusive that model search SQL queries which you build for yourself(i.e. custom search) are not in EAP files!

Does anyone know where the Search builder stores custom SQL searches on the PC? would be useful to know and take a backup now and again!

Any suggestions?

I decided to Export the Searches from the Old PC into XML using the Export option in the Search Builder, then re-import them into the new PC.

Queries work fine on the new PC now with reports and relationship matrices etc. Thanks for the additional tip thou.

Now going to perform Export Refecrnce Data from Old to New PC just in case there is anything else. Will also have alook at the registry on the old PC as well, joy!
