Issues with paste of enumeration stereotypes
« on: October 28, 2014, 08:56:31 pm »
An important long-lived model happens to use classes with an <<enumeration>> stereotype, rather than using the enumeration UML element type.

However in EA v11 a copy & paste of such a <<enumeration>> automatically converts to a UML enumeration.
This creates inconsistency with the other enumerations (hundreds) in the model.
Does anybody know of a way to disable that automatic conversion so we can preserve package contents when we copy & paste?

In one of the last major releases EA has changed the enumeration behavior. So you have two options: a) downgrade to an old version or b) change all existing enums to the new format with a script.
