Inconsistent ea_guid value (v.9.3)
« on: November 04, 2014, 11:15:36 pm »
Hello all.

Found an issue with EA when applying a user lock on a package. It indicates it's locked but when you try to change any value it doesn't allow the user to save the new information.

After looking at my SQL Server database I found there were inconsistent values for the ea_guid attribute between t_object and t_package tables.

After changing ea_guid value on the t_package table to match it's t_object table value the problem was solved but new issues keeps happening all the time. It looks like an application problem.

Anybody else got to see this issue?

Hard to tell. Especially as EA is now at V11 and you will likely not see any correction except you can reproduce that with V11.
