Sequence lines force aligned below text or notes

I cannot position a sequence line such that it is lined up with any text or note to the right of it. The line always repositions to a point below the bottom of the text or note. Can I turn this "feature" off? The work around is to move the note, position the line, then put the note where I want it.

Maybe the issue is fixed on the latest build. If you use older builds, try the latest build.
