Archimate 2.0 and Apply Type not working

Version EA 12
OS = Windows 8.1

When trying to change a business process to a function nothing happens using the following procedure

drag the function notation to the process i previously created
the apply or add menu appears
select apply
nothing happens

Any ideas?

Are you sure nothing happens? It sounds like it is appending the new stereotype instead of replacing it.
