Sorry for the basic question, but in a single misplaced mouse click, I removed the Main Menu (File View ... ) Toolbar. How do I get it back?

Try View/Workspaces (and depending on you EA version click forward to where it seems to make sense).

(In V12 this menu is really, really, really sick. It beats the design of many other awkward features in EA I already got used to.)

Well, I found the answer by reading your reply ... literally. I had inadvertently undocked the menu, and it was covered by another window. When I went to check my email for a reply, I happened to move the covering window, and I bumped into the main menu.

Oh, you were talking about the menu itself. To me it looks ridiculous to offer the possibility to (re-)move the menu. Probably this is some windoze peculiarity but I can only remember EA to offer this possibility. EAUI
