Hi,

I've created a Diagram Script in a new Diagram scripting group.
When I export this script in an MDG (using an MTS file), and import it in a separate project , this group is shown as a Normal group, not a Diagram group.

This looks like a bug

Hi Guillaume,

that is as it works. You find some threads in this forum if you search for it.

If you export and import the scripts the association to groups is preserved. I know it's not as convenient as a MDG.

Therefore I only use export/import for scripts I wanted to use in script groups.

Hi Helmut,

Thanks for your input. I'm giving it a go at submitting this as an enhancement request ; it would be nice to able to encapsulate Diagram Scripts with other items in an MDG.

Tested it in EA12 build 1209 ; it hasn't been fixed

Hi,

Any chance the scripting types could be supported in the MDG for a future build?
I currently have to separate my scripts (diagram, package) from my MDG as the type is not preserved.

Sounds like a feature request to me.
Sparx have been responsive to an MDG enhancement request when I made a feature request.
