Find in All diagrams [Ctrl+U] dialog broken
« on: September 14, 2015, 06:06:31 pm »
The Find>Find in All diagrams [Ctrl+U] dialog is broken in a number of ways:
The dialog has sort features enabled (^ v) for the column but the contents are not sorted by the mechanism.
There is no mechanism to filter the diagram list.  For some elements, the list can be very long.
There is NO indication in the Help system (that I could see) of what the "Kind" column means.  Also, it doesn't seem to be populated.
If more than one object is selected, it is NOT clear which object has been used to construct the list.  Opening up the (normally hidden) ObjectID column is of more than doubtful value to an end user.
There is no package or path column to help in filtering (such as with the Namespace Search dialog)
That's all I could find in 5 minutes... :(
[edit]I forgot, the sizing doesn't seem sticky...[/edit]
Reported,
Paolo

... Therefore, aim for consistency; in the expectation of achieving correctness....
