When you select to drop the element as an instance, also check the Copy connectors option.

I just did that. The connectors were copied. What are the exact steps?

I'm pasting 2 blocks from the model tree to an Object Diagram as instance (by drag&drop), with "Copy Connectors" flag checked.
The pasted blocks are already connected by association in another Block Definition Diagram.

I have been using classes. Are you by any chance talking about SysML blocks?

I found it.
The problem was i dragged one block/class a time, instead of selecting and dragging all of them in a single shot.

Thanks to all,
