No/Incorrect Modified Date - Connectors/Elements

This is a note of caution because EA doesn't keep an accurate record of some changes to a model:-

*

connectors. In the underlying DB schema there is no Created Date or Modified Date so it is impossible to keep a track of modifications to relationships e.g. changes to attributes etc.

* elements. The modification date for any element which has properties implemented as tagged values will not reflect changes to those properties either by adding / deleting properties or changing values. This occurs because the tagged values in t_objectproperties have no metadata and the displayed change and modification dates simply use the metadata in the t_object / t_diagramobject tables

I have reported both cases. The second case was deemed as 'expected' behaviour. As I pointed out it might well be 'specified' behaviour but none of these behaviours is technically correct and therefore the specification is incorrect and these are bugs.

Unfortunately they have only been logged as feature requests ...
