Interface Lost
« on: March 26, 2002, 08:50:54 am »
I created a component diagram and put components in it WITH interfaces. I created a second component diagram, copied links of the components from previous to new and I lost the interfaces that show up in the first one. Any idea why I would have lost the interfaces on the second diagram? I have a third diagram with virtually identical components, all links and the interfaces show up fine!;-)

Any and all help appreciated!

Dennis Todd

PS. EA is a great product! This is just a personal endorsement, but i have also got several of my colleagues now using it!

Hi Dennis,

I guess the first thing to check is that in the diagram where the Interfaces dont show up:

1. In the Diagram properties dialog the "Show Class Members" check boxes are all ticked;

2. If you right click on the component and select 'Specify Feature Visibility" from the context menu, in the dialog the Operation Visibility check boxes are all set.

If this doesnt help Ill look a bit further,

Geoff

Thanks, it was the second one, "Specify Feature Visibility". I don't know how they got turned off. I don't remember turning them off, but who knows. I turned them back on, that fixed it!

thanks again!
