Mapping use cases on Activity Diagrams
« on: April 15, 2002, 05:39:03 am »
I have been trying to place a use case boundary on an activity diagram (as per the section on the website 'UML White Papers and Modeling Topics')

I have been using a system boundary and setting the object classifier to be the use case. But I can't seem to change the border style to be the same as on your example (dashed line).

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

As I recall I just used the 'appearance' toolbar to set the color. I thought of making the appearance change automatic - but not everyone would like my selection - so I left it plain.

To change the border:

1. Open the Boundary properties and check the 'Dotted' style
2. Select the border color and border thickness in the 'appearance' toolbar, then highlight the Boundary element and press the Paintbrush icon to apply color

Cheers,
