Branching on sequence diagram

Great to see branching on the sequence diagrams.

I have managed to create a branch by right clicking on the message below the main one, but I cannot do this all the time.

Does anyone know the correct EA conditions that allow me to create a message branch consistently?

Hi,
Branching is showing some interesting behaviour.

• When I add a couple of objects and messages to a sequence diagram the branching option is not available. I save the diagram and still no branching option. Switch to another diagram and back and the branching option is there!
  
• Add another object and a couple of message, no branching option available. Save and switch out/back and branching is available.
  
• Add a couple of messages beneath an existing branch, select the branch option on the lower message and it branches from the existing branch structure!
  Save, switch out/back, and the branch appears correctly

Hi Matt,

Ill check this out. We have an update coming out early next week - so if there is something amiss Ill get it fixed by then. Sounds like something not intitialising properly under some curcumstances.

Until there is a fix, you don't have to switch to another diagram, just make sure auto-save is on and double click in the project explorer on the diagram you are editing.

Nothing happens on the screen, but the menu options miraculously appear.

Hi guys,

Just an update. I have tracked down the initialisation problem and it is fixed for the next minor update. This is now due out tomorrow - and will be build 487 or higher.
