Question: Changing source code link.
« on: June 07, 2002, 02:35:02 pm »
Quick question,

I need to change a class name in both the model and the source code.  The class is already part of several sequence diagrams so I can't delete it and reload it.  I just want to rename it, and make it UML class link to a new source file.  How is that done?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi

I only know one way. Select the class and choose generate
source. Change the path to your new path. Cancel
the generation.

Try synchronize from source and the path should be
changed.

If anyone knows a better way I also want to know how

Hope it helps

/Anders

Hi,

When you click on a class that has an associated filename, you can view and change the filename in the docked Properties window (second tab) ... it is the 3rd property from the bottom.

Edit this property to manually change the asosciated source code file.
