Domain Specific Data Types
« on: July 29, 2002, 08:07:37 am »
I want to assign domain specific data types to the attributes in my class diagrams.  Is there a place in EA where I can define domain specific data types so that they show up in the drop down box of data type for every attribute that I define in my entire class diagram?

Thanks

Look at menu item References->Language DataTypes. That looks pretty much like what you're looking for.

It would be nice if EA creates downloadable language specific data type packages so we don't have to create them ourself. I usually import those data types into a package and use it.

hmm.. I tried that but the values still didn't show up.  Does that mean that I first have to assign a language to the model before I can use my domain specific data types?
