Constraint tab
« on: August 07, 2002, 03:53:48 pm »
I want to use the constraint tab of Use Case properties to specify my pre and post conditions.  However I want all of my preconditions to appear one below the other and all of the post condition to appear after the preconditions.  However there is no control that I have on the order in which these appear in the rtf document.

I am currently doing a project and would urgently want some functionality by which I could move certain constraints up and down (just as class attributes can be manipulated with the up and down hand icons).

Is there a way that you can put this change in so that I can create all of my pre and post conditions through the constraints tab?

Thanks!
Jamal

Hi Jamal,

Ive had a quick look and Ill put the change in for the next build, which will be out in a few days time. We are releasing build 501 tonite, but there will probably be a maintenance release over the weekend or early next week to catch up with a few other issues. Look for build 502 or higher.

Regards,
Geoff Sparks

Thanks for following up.  Ok, that sounds good. If the functionality will be available by Monday then I'll start planning my use case descriptions around that.

I think that will enhance and expedite the usability of the product during this critical stage.

Any plans of making the product compatible with UML 1.4?

Thanks.
