Version Control MS VSS

Can anyone tell me if anyone has heard of a time line to  as to when MS Visual SourceSafe will be integrated with EA? We are using creating XML files using the Import/Export function which will work,  just wondered if this is on the radar screen. I see a note on the Future Plans : - integrated version control with MS SCC

and wondered if that means MS VSS. Thanks.
