RTF Reports using the date filter

My company would like reports showing the changes to a package over the previous week.

Unfortunately the date filter provides too much information, so that it is not clear what was really changed:

1.) It seems to always print all of the diagrams, regardless of whether they were modified.
2) For an activity it prints all of the requirements listed on the Responsibility tab even if only 1 of the requirements has an update date greater than the one specified.  For example requirements that haven't been modified since last year were showing up on the report just because 1 of the requirements had been modified the day before.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

We are using EA Corporate Edition, version 3.51.602 with a MySQL database.

Also, is it true that we can't get a before and after breakdown of the changes made?  I am guessing this because I don't  see where any history information is stored in the database.

Any help would be appreciated.
