is there a way of displaying the alias that you set, in the project explorer tree??

It would be very helpful if this was possible..

Hi Paulo

Go to the Diagram Properties window for the diagram you want the alias to show for (right click on the background of the diagram - it's towards the top of the pop up menu).

Check the "Use Alias If Available" option, then press OK.

You may need to double click the item with the alias in the project tree to see the effect.

Hi Paolo,

The aliases cannot be shown in the project explorer tree. The solution given by Emma shows the aliases of various elements on a diagram, but I just tested this using packages and I cannot get the aliases shown for packages.

I was trying to get the alias's displayed for the individual elements, rather than the package.
Emma's solution works for this.. YAY  .
You are right Tjerk, I cannot get it to work for packages either... it must be related to the diagram properties....
