Problems synchronizing model and source

Hi,
I am having troubles when synchronizing model and source. The story goes:

1) Initially I make an import source -> model.
2) I work with the model. Add assoications and notes.
3) Then I add some new classes in the source.

Now I like to get the new classes into my model.

A synchronize does not help me. That will only make changes in the classes that was already added to the diagrams in my model - not adding my new classes!

Then I instead try to import the source-directory again. This seem to add the new classes but my already made diagrams becomes all messed up (re-ordered into an  ugly (almost unreadable) layout).

So what should I do? Why does the import mess up the diagrams?
