Entities on Sequence Diagram

I've noticed an intermittent problem with adding an Entity to a Sequence Diagram.  When I try and drop an entity class from a class diagram on to my sequence diagram, EA will sometimes crash.  It's not 100% repeatable, but it happens most of the time.

Obviously, I’d rather reuse objects in the model that I’ve already created, but I’m being forced to use entities that are “local” to the sequence diagram.  

I’m using 3.51.615 (Build 615), Corporate Edition.
