is locking different for different databases?

Hello EAers!

In the corporate edition ( 3.60.648 ), I tested transfering and using a project in mysql before we decided to use this for our development group. In the mysql version, right clicking on an element in the project view gives you a menu with an option that reads "Lock X" where X may be "package" or "diagram" or whatever the element is.

When selected, a fine-grained bunch of selections appears as to how you want the lock to behave. This is how it is shown in the user documentation (Model Management->Team Development->User Security->Administrative Tasks->Locking X).

However, in the Oracle version, the menu reads "Apply/Release User Lock...". When selected, it gives you a much restricted selection...well, none if it's a diagram.

Is this due to security being set up differently (if it is, I can't find the difference) or is it due to something about Oracle vs MySQL? I'd like to see the MySQL selections with the Oracle database.

No big deal, though, EA is amazing.

Thanks so much,
Galen Meurer
