Empty DBMS Datatype listbox (eval)
« on: August 16, 2003, 12:06:32 pm »
Hi,

I'm running an evaluation copy of EA and want to play around with the DDL generation.  When I create a column, the Datatype listbox is empty.  My first assumption was that I needed to set the type of database server I'm using.  I've spent a little time looking through the online help but haven't found a way to set the DMBS type.  Am I missing something or is this feature not available in the trial version?

Thanks for any help you can give,
Brian

Set the DBMS in the Table Properties... dialog. There is a drop down list 'Database' to select the target DBMS. :)

Hi

I have the same problem. But there is no dbms drop down on the Table Detail Tab. There are only three buttoms:

Colums/Attributes
Operations
Generate DDL

What do I do?
