Preserve links after DB Schema import?

When I import a db schema and select "synchronize existing classes", it deletes any relationship links I've built up across tables. As long as PK and FK columns remained, I expected EA to just update the tables' details without deleting any links.

e.g
1. Import an DB Schema into a diagram
2. Draw foreign key links between tables on the diagrams
3. Reimport the DB Schema into a diagram (selecting synchronise)
4. Kaboom - all table links gone!

I am evaluating EA right now and am hoping it's user error.

DB Schema Import synchronizes the diagram with the schema being inported. If the importing schema does not have FK constraints, then after synchronizing, the diagram will also have no FK constraints. This is by design.
