  Hi all,
our three projects use the same database. But there are several tables which belongs just to one project. I'd like to have one data model for all these projects, because it's easier to keep changes up to date just in one data model than three or more similar.  But I'd like to have an option to see tables which belong to one project and other projects' tables not.  I mean something like layers in PhotoShop. Could anyone suggest the best way how to achieve this?
I tried to have 'base tables' in one diagram and this diagram I dropped into another with other tables, but then  I couldn't model relations between tables in separate diagrams.

Thanks for any helpful hints.

Hi,

Since an element can appear on more than one diagram, you could create all of the tables and then create a diagram for each of the systems. Drag and drop the tables onto the appropriate diagram or diagrams and that's it.
Does this help?
