Code Generation Settings
« on: May 18, 2004, 10:31:45 am »
I am running build 726.  When I set Tools-Options-Generation-Default Language for Code Generation: to something other than Java, the next time I create a new model I have to set it again.  Am I missing something or is this how it has to be done? ???  Other options are also not retained.

This option is set in the model that you were running when doing this.  The way to set this so that works when you create a new model is as follows.

Create a new model, set this option and any other options that you want set in all new models.  Exit EA and find the .EAP file for this model, copy it over the existing model that is used when creating a project.  (By default it is C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\EANew.eap)  Alternatively, simply use this model to create new models in the new model dialogue.

Hope this helps.
