How to use exit points in composite states

I'm having touble working out how to use exit and entry points in composite states.

My (possibly incorrect) understanding is that entry and exit points on a composite state should be named the same as one of the sub-states inside the composite state. This is all well and good but I can't find a way (EA v4.00) to make the link between exit points and sub-states explicit (via   a link) rather than implicit (they have the same name).

I'm adding the exit and entry points using the "Insert Embedded Elements->Entry point" contextual menu for the composite state.

Can I make the relationship explicit?
