Importing Classes in Delphi
« on: May 27, 2004, 09:46:03 am »
Hello all,

We're just getting started with EA (we like it a lot and the purchase order is winding its way through the accounting jungle!)  but we have a few problems.  We're "resurrecting" an older application (you all know how *that* goes!) and I'm trying to generate a full class diagram from the Delphi source.  In particular, we're interested in a file that holds the data/object model and has twenty or thirty classes, but when we run it through EA, only three classes come out!  I can send the file on if anyone's interested, but is there a reason why this should happen?

Also, we tried running an (even earlier) ODBC data model through EA, with maybe twenty-five tables, and it regularly crashed, even after an hour of waiting (guys, a little threading of the import process would help!)

Any advice is welcome.  Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Definately send the problem source code (zipped up if it's large) to sparx support and we'll find the problem and fix it for you.
