Can't log into repository all the sudden

Please help if you know why I'm all the sudden not able to log into the EA repository through EA.   We can connect using MySQL client.  We've tried rebuilding the odbc data source connection.  We succed at all the test button points. Then the login dialog pops up and after correctly entering username and password, the login dialog pops up again.  What could be preventing us from logging in through EA while we can log into the database from MySQL client?  This is emergency as we have deliverables this week.  Please respond with guidance.

Look at table t_secuser. Delete the password. You should now be able to log in without password.

Make a backup of your database before!!!!!

Thank you.  In the mean time I found out the boss was playing with the system last night and turned security on without adding any of us as users.  Public flogging will occur this afternoon in the coffee room.  Thanks. Problem resolved.
