InterruptibleActivityRegion causes error
« on: August 30, 2004, 09:38:16 am »
When I try to draw an interrupt flow out of an InterruptibleActivityRegion, I get a "The requested connection is not UML compliant.   Does anyone have any information on a workaround or fix?

Just ran into this myself.  :-(
I can't seem to find a way to show that an activity can raise an exception -- using the Interruptable Region didn't do it, nor could I use an Interrupt Flow in any fashion to connect to my Exception widget.

The work-around is to switch off strict UML checking (it's under "Tools / Options / Diagrams"), draw your connection and then switch UML checking back on. Then could you e-mail us a screen shot of the diagram you're trying to draw please and we can check that we've got the right UML rules in place. We're at [email protected]
