Huu - Using Clear Case but not Rose? Something must be wrong  ;D
Honestly, if Clear Case is not compatible with SCC (is it?) you can not use it with EA. Sorry.

I have  some development teams working with EA within CC, it has many issues  :'(.
Though EA recognizes CC nativelyu and communicates with it fine, it is not able to use its teamwork abilties and version control together, either you work within version control space or you use teamwork abilities.

we desided to make a aster5 project with version control within CC and then leave it open and every one opens it within the private branch.

it has some XML merging issue but it should be fix in the upcomeing build.

and about Rose - it is too expensive to be worth it for most developing projects.

Recursion definition:
If you don’t understand the definition read "Recursion definition".

We use EA with CC and it works fine. We have xml packages under source control, which developers can check in and out from within EA. Separately, we backup the EAP file itself into the VOB a couple of times a day.
