Hi,

is there a way to use XMI2.1 for version control with subversion?

No.  EA's version control always uses XMI 1.1.

However, obviously this won't cause any loss of data withing EA.

Unfortunately it causes lost of data, because EA 6.5 does not import information from an XMI 1.1 properly.

Try to save an Activity with an Attribute in subversion,
you will lose the Attribute.

Okay.  I stand corrected.

I can't make EA 6.5 read them, but as of the next build of version 7 they won't be lost.

Sounds good :D

What's special with XMI 2.1,
that EA cannot handle it in a version control system?
