How to set the defaults for elements?

Hi,

I want to set the default element's appearance (for the element's size and color), but on doesn't work as written in help.

I created a package and named it template. Put the elements into the diagram in this folder, sized it, and set color. Then I choosed the Project/Set Element Template Package, and browsed to the Template folder. Despite this, when I created a new element somewhere, the element doesn't shows the appearence that I set in the template package.

What have I do?

not that I really know, but it should be stereotyped, not named template.

There is an attribute "stereotype" also for packages (open the properties). Then type "template" in this field and try again.

I tried to "stereotype" the folder as template, but it doesn't solve the problem.

When I add new issue, on doesn't reflect the formatting of the issue in the template folder. Despite, that I set the folder as Element template package in the project menu.

Just tried it for curiosity. Obviously it does not work as described in the help file. Probably you should send a bug request  :-/
Addendum: For other elements it seems to work (like screen),  but not for requirements and issues.
