EAP different w/ Unicode build?

Hi,

I was working with the non-Unicode version of EA for quite some time (EAP file based, using replication feature). EA was very stable.

I recently installed the Unicode version and I got quite a number of crashes.

Is an EAP file created with the non-Unicode version of EA incompatible with the Unicode version of EA and vice versa?

Maybe this is obvious...   In that case a little message box in EA would make life much easier...

The difference between the Unicode .eap and non-Unicode .eap is non-existent to my knowledge; I regularly install both version and have never had any problems opening any model in either version. It sounds like there is another problem at play here rather than an incompatibility between the Unicode/non-Unicode versions of EA.
