Create Model Extensions (pluggable pieces)
« on: January 28, 2005, 09:48:03 am »
My team members are using EA Professional (Program version 4.10.739).  We like to all work on the same model at the same time.   Each member is defining a subsystem that will fit in the overall system.   I know Rational Rose has the feature to create CAT files which are pluggable extensions to a main model.  Does EA have a similar feature?  If so, can you point me to the instructions so I can set up that structure in my EA models?

We do the saem by exporting creating "pluggable" models each within a package and exporting the package to XMI. then you can import to your model the XML packages you need and refresh them from original when needed.
