Numbering in communication diagrams

Hi:
I'm wondering if there is any way of modifying the numbers assigned to messages in communication diagrams? I like to use the diagrams together with interaction overviews in Analysis phase, then switch to sequence diagrams in design. My problem is that, given that I use them in Analysis, changes are inevitable. By the time I know I need a change, I may have numbering assigned for three different sequences of messages on a diagram, and I can't seem to renumber them in any way other than deleting and re-entering all the previous messages.

Am I missing something obvious, or should this become a feature request?

Excellent, thanks. That's the second time I've missed a menu item - its just that the context menus and general setup are so good that when I get knee-deep in a model I forget there's a menu :-)
