UML profile reengineering ?

Hi,
We have an UML profile in xml which we would like to manage via EA (profile package).
Is there a way of importing it ? (not for use, but for further editing ...)

(No EA at hand...) Tried a simple package import?

Edit: does not work :-[ No idea except manually reconstructing it
