Multiple applied note appearence
« on: April 14, 2005, 11:22:42 pm »
When you apply a note to more then one line, the note connectore seems to be part of the note.  When you attach a single note, it isn't.   ???

When I adjusted the appearance of the note, I expect ONLY the note to change - not the connector as well! ::)

Please fix.

A third example in as many elapsed hours of the line-shape dichotomy!

I can't really figure out what the point is. I do not see any different behaviour if one or two connectors are attached.

That may possibly be because in EA you may not be able consistently apply notes to more than one object.

What I'm doing is attaching a note to a line and then checking some additional boxes.  The appearance behaviour in this case is different than if I attach a note to a shape - where that dioalog doesn't come up - the sujectof another post... :-[

How are you attaching to more than one object?

I guess you mean the ability to connect the note contents to an element feature. Yes - you only can attach one at a time. If you want a simple note you have to do it the following way: right click the relation and attach a note (to this and other relations on the diagram). Then draw link lines (icon in the top area) between the note and any object.
