Spell checking posts

Among all the "you beaut" features of this forum - all the smileys and formatting options - which you may have noticed I've gotten into - IS NOT the option to spell check the post.:(

Have I missed something or is it about the sizzle and not the substance?  ;)

BTW, I'm reminded of when Apple first came out with WSYIWYG.  They put a two page advertisement in the Australian papers showing the "beautiful and elegant WSYIWYG Apple report" on one page and the "clunky old IBM line printer" IBM version on the other page.

Unfortunately for Apple their report did not add up the totals correctly...  While the IBM one did... ;D

YABB is not Sparx' product. They purchased a license. Please complain here: http://www.yabbforum.com

Hi Thomas,

I guessed as much.  I went there.

A quick search revealed there seems to be a spell checker available via:
http://www.boardmod.org/mods.php

I can't tell if it's suitable etc, but then I'm not running this board.

Sparxians, how about it?

I don't know how well the spell checker would go, I couldn't actually install the mod myself either.  However, I do know that installing those mods is a nightmare.  (So I was told after I found a mod to fix the logout issue which should no longer plague the forum.)

Anyway, I'll see if it's something that can be added.  (No promises)

On that joyous note, the logout issue is not gone :-)

That's not good... :(

It definately appears to be gone from here.  (I haven't been logged out since it was installed) I guess it must be a different issue.

It is not critical, so please do not spend any time on this... I get logged out at least once a day, usually more often, it happens from multiple computers, but not regularly. As I have said, not a big deal though :-)
