Generate HTML Report Including Test Cases
« on: April 26, 2005, 08:15:35 pm »
I created some test cases in a package. Then I wanted to create some HTML reports. Right click on package -> Documentation -> HTML Documentation. I give it default style, made sure that the "Include Test Cases" option is checked, and clicked Generate.

The generated HTML report does not contain my test cases. :(

BTW, I'm using build 751.

Did you use the test cases out of the "Custom" toolbar.  That switch in the document generation is form test cases that are associated to the use cases.  You can create test cases from use cases and the test case is linked to the use case and will print behind/below the usecase.

No. I didn't. This is what I did:

Select a package in the tree.
View -> Other Window -> Testing

Then a list of "test cases" are displayed at the bottom, with 5 tabs for Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance, Scenario tests.

So when I added things into this list, they're added against the selected package.

I guess the "test cases" in the list are different from the "test cases" from the "Custom" toolbar... Test cases are not test cases... :-/ Thanks for the clarification though.
