Server Repository and upgrade to 5.0?
« on: May 24, 2005, 11:00:52 am »
We have been using Enterprise Architect for a little more than a month at my company, and we are very pleased with it. We have a decent-sized project reverse-engineered into a server repository (SQL Server) and have had no problems with that. We have since added many class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and ERD's.

When we saw the upgrade notes for version 5, we saw some features that we think would be helpful. We would like to upgrade from version 4.51 (build 750) to 5.0, but want to make sure that the repository database will work the same, or find out what changes we need to make. We can't afford to lose any time on crashes or lost data.

Can anyone tell me what differences, if any, there are to the repository schema?

Thanks,
Mike

No changes whatever to the repository schema - you can safely upgrade to 5.0.   :)
