how to join connectors
« on: May 29, 2005, 05:58:06 pm »
Hi, I'm new to EA.
in a use-case diagram, I have 2 use cases as generalisation of another use case, so I currently have two straight lines.  How can I show this as one line (see below)?  I can't find any option to connect lines and the help only shows 1 to 1 connections.  Thanks

Hello,

just right click on the generalization and choose "Tree style" from context menu. You must do it for both connections...

Best Regards

OK, I tried that and now I have the 'gen' pointing at the bottom of the UC - EA wont let me drag the arrow to the side.

I am guessing EA only allow top to bottom tree, and not left to right. ???

That's funny?  I thought there used to be an option for other than TTB layouts.

Dreaming?  Gone away?   ???
