Error Uninstalling V4.5 Prior to instal of V5

Hello,

I am getting the following error when trying to uninstall the previous version prior to installing the latest 5.0 version.
The message occurs both from the Add/Remove programs from Control Panel and when trying to install V5.

Error_Message:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

The uninstaller is looking for "C:\Program Files\Common Files\WISC......_4_50.... "

which does not appear to be on my system.
but the file WISCC98E8B3FAAA4D09A813A44C9FA1A3EE_4_51_747.MSI does exist.
(WIN XP PRO with Spack 2);

It seems the uninstaller is looking for a V4.50 MSI while the MSI is installed for V4.51.747.

How do I uninstall the current version so I can install V5?
