Connector Types
« on: August 13, 2005, 06:44:39 am »
There's a discrepancy between the list of Connector types documented in the Help file and those found in t_connectortypes (what else is new? ::)).

Most of the differences are accounted for by the new UML 2 Connectors.

However, can anybody tell me what Collaboration or a Package connector types are used for?  Are they UML 1 hangovers?

Thanx.
Paolo

The Package connector is, depending on value in the stereotype field, either a PackageImport or PackageMerge.

Collaboration connectors seem to represent communication diagram messages - I'd imagine we didn't rename them to "Communication" because of all the existing UML 1 models that we would've broken.

Hi Neil,

Messages appear to go in as type=Sequence.  How can I create a Type=Collaboration?

Thanx,
